Technical education in mechanics, expansion of garage workshop in Colegio San Andrés Itzapa.  Because more and more students were interested in these classes, the building of the workshop already commenced in the second half of 2009.  The students noticed how punctual our project was executed with the help of last year’s sponsoring.  This motivated them so that the school board and the parents’ council urged us to continue the project as soon as possible.  We hope to have the workshop up and running in January 2011 (at the beginning of the new school year).  Through proper education these children will be able to stand up for themselves and escape poverty.  They will become skilled professionals, which will benefit their self-esteem.
