De Wiekslag looks after 104 children and young people whose parents suffer from social, judicial or mental health problems and so are unable to care for them themselves. De Wiekslag runs 7 different residences and/or services, and the care given is based on the level of independence of the children.

De Wiekslag received an amount of 12.500 Euro to refurnish the kitchen and to renew the floors.
